Simone Sedilesu
The VikeVike winery was born from the will and passion of Simone Sedilesu, a young oenologist born in Mamoiada from a family that has been making wine for generations. Growing up among the rows with his brothers and cousins, working alongside his grandfather from an early age, he then learned the art of making wine from his father. A very precise and strongly identifying production philosophy of the territory: wine is made first of all in the vineyard, with great attention to this; in the cellar it is only necessary to drive it and “not to ruin it”. After graduating in oenology, Simone had several experiences abroad, thus maturing the decision to create his own winery: VikeVike.

Philosophy
Currently 2.5 ha are processed, in conversion to organic, with a production of 10,000 bottles of Cannonau (VikeVike red), 300 bottles of Moscato, 1,000 bottles of VikeVike white and from 2018 500 bottles of rosé and 2500 bottles of VikeVike Riserva. . The white VikeVike is made from a native white grape variety called "Granatza", with an average age of 60 years and with very low yields. Until recently this vine was used as a blending grape for the Cannonau and for this reason there are few plants scattered in the vineyards, we vinify it in purity. All VikeVike wines are obtained thanks to spontaneous fermentation of grape must without any addition, only a small amount of sulphites
